About Us

The objective of HARG is to provide an interdisciplinary research platform on quantitative modeling, statistics and data analytics, simulation and operation management, etc., to develop methodologies and solution tools to solve complex healthcare operations and health-related problems for health system improvement and optimization. Taking advantage of the well-developed methodologies and theories in operations research, systems modeling, simulation and software tools, and data and decision analytics, our goals are to seek funding resources,  produce high quality research outputs, and educate students in important health research problems: predictive health and personalized health monitoring; disease modeling and public health surveillance; organ transplant policy and management; optimal treatment design and drug delivery, treatment target intervention and outcome prediction; medical decision analysis; healthcare quality improvement, logistics and healthcare delivery systems, biomedical informatics, etc.
